Edward Dennett
Biographical note
Edward Dennett was born in the Isle of Wight and brought up as an Anglican. Converted in his youth, devout and studious, he became a minister of the Baptist Church, and obtained wide repute as a preacher at his Greenwich charge.
It was whilst abroad recuperating from an illness that he became acquainted with "Brethren" through whom he learned and accepted the grand truth of Christians gathering to the Name of Jesus only.
