Biblecentre Search
Biblecentre uses the google search engine to index the website. Simply type your query into the box in the top right corner of this page and hit search.
What to find
Using this search engine, you can search 1,000s of pages of Bible commentaries, articles, etc. etc.
How to find it:
Just type in your key word(s) and press 'search' .
Search results:
This will take you to a page showing all documents on this site containing your key word(s).
Searching within documents:
Once you click on the documents on your search results page you may find a relatively long text and it may not be evident where on this page your key words occur. Simply type "Ctrl F" (for 'find') which will allow you to search within that page. Type in your key word(s) there and it will take you right to the passage where your key words occur.
Advanced search:
Starting from the results page (which you get after your first search) you can also use advanced search options (e.g. search for a combination of key words, exact strings, etc).
Example:
If you type 'Apostle Paul' into the search window on this page you will find
(i) all references to 'Paul' and
(ii) all occurrences of 'Apostle' and
(iii) all references to 'Apostle Paul'.
But if you go to advanced search and search for the 'exact phrase only' then only the references to 'Apostle Paul' will be given.
You can do this by scrolling down to the bottom of your first 'results' page. There, you will find the option of searching for 'all the words', for 'the exact phrase', etc.
