Information

Tapes may be ordered from any, or all, of the above categories. All tapes in the ministry and Bible study sections are of an excellent quality unless stated. The tapes in the gospel address section are of a mixed standard. More details are given below.

Where possible, 2 gospel messages or ministry addresses will be recorded on the same C90 tape. The cost of the tapes are 50p per tape. These tapes are sent out in the prayerful hope that those who listen to them will benefit spiritually from them and lead to a better understanding, and, consequentially, a greater love for the One who sold all that He had in order to acquire the Church as His bride. May all things be done for His honour and His glory.

The vast majority of the addresses listed in the gospel section were given at the Christian meeting room in Staple Hill, Bristol, between 1976 and 1991, and recorded by a local brother, Tom Dennigan, for the benefit of those saints too ill to attend the meeting. However, with his homecall to be with the Lord in 1995, these tapes have become available to a wider audience. Because of the age of some of these tapes, and therefore the quality of the recordings, it has been necessary to give a quality rating for each address given:

Quality Indicator
Code Quality Description
X Excellent All of the address is clearly understandable
G Good The vast majority of the address is understandable
A Average Contains background noise, understandable with difficulty
P Poor Some parts or all of the address not understandable without the aid of a graphic equaliser system

Where a series of addresses on a subject are given and there is a variation of quality over the series, two or more of these letters are displayed before the title of the address, the first letter giving the most frequent quality of the tapes, followed by the second most frequent quality and, if necessary, finally the least common tape quality.

Some tapes had to be omitted from the list because of the very poor nature of the recordings, but it was thought that poor recordings be included in the prayerful hope that they may be of benefit to those who have a deep desire to learn more of the Lord Jesus Christ (and have the aid of a graphic equaliser system at their disposal).

Some addresses are incomplete, the last few minutes being missing, where this is the case it is noted, however, the gospel address or ministry tape is still well worth listening to.

Yours in His service,

Andrew Langham
